Carrie Smith The Nourished Home

As a Mum of three, I understand just how tricky it can be to balance the demands of everyday life. We spin plates, juggle, and multitask our way through the weeks.

Don’t get me wrong, being a Mum is THE BEST job in the world, but it’s also incredibly hard. There’s often very little left for us.

But, having someone in your corner can make a huge difference...

In setting up The Nourished Home, I want to make life a little bit easier for the Mums out there.
I want to help you feel great and make the mental load a little bit lighter, by making nutrition something that you don’t have to spend so much time worrying about.
Because I’ve been there, and I understand how exhausting it can be.
You can read more about my qualifications and experience below, but if you’re looking for a helping hand from a compassionate, empathetic, and experienced Nutritionist, why not get in touch for a chat...?

I graduated from Loughborough University in 1998 with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Science, before working for the before British Heart Foundation, promoting and delivering their “Jump Rope for Heart” campaign.

It wasn’t too long before London started calling; the bright lights, the excitement, my now husband and a brand new career in Healthcare PR and Communications.

During my 14-year career, I enjoyed so many incredible experiences that took me all over the world, working for the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Not only was this great corporate experience, but it was also great life experience and now enables me to understand the needs of those clients who are balancing busy work and home lives.

After the birth of two of my children, Sofia and Nate, I completed my Level 3 Award in personal Training and worked as a freelance trainer, specialising in Pre and Post-Natal Fitness. The passion grew and shortly after Hadley - my third child - came on the scene, I completed an MSc in Personalised Nutrition from Middlesex University.

I have recently completed a number of additional qualifications to enhance the support I can provide my clients, including Menopause Health and Fitness Specialist Training, Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness (MB-EAT) Practitioner Training, MNU certification and EIQ Nutrition certification.

I believe that my unique lived experience, together with my academic and professional qualifications in the fields of Nutrition, Science and Coaching, leave me well-placed to support you on your personal journey to improved health, wellbeing and happiness.
